I have now released my new collection called ‘The Waiting’ on my website.
This collection is my response to the last 2-3 months in lockdown, reflecting on the personal effects and impact of The Waiting for the pandemic to pass. There are still 3 more paintings to add the collection and these will be completed over the next couple of weeks and made available. All the details for each painting are given including the stories behind each one. This is the link to The Waiting: https://josykesart.com/the-waiting/
If you are interested in any of the paintings in this collection please contact me for a closer viewing
In other news, before Christmas, I entered some paintings in the Art at The Manor House Competition, with the West Yorkshire MND Association, and was delighted to find that Torside Reservoir was one of the two runners up in the Adult section. This painting will be included in an exhibition at the Manor House sometime in the summer depending on covid restrictions so that will be something to look forward to.

I hope that you are all keeping well, coping with the current restrictions and finding meaning-full ways to make sense of these difficult and strange times.
