” One day I went for a drive into the hills, but the higher I went the cloudier it became, with a dark overcast sky. I stopped for a while to stretch my legs not wanting to wander far in case the sky decided to tip out its full bucket. I was about to give up and return to the car when there was a crack in the sky and light spilled out onto the hillside in front of me. It was stunningly beautiful for that light touch. A moment later and the moment is gone.
In the middle of our waiting sometimes we get just a glimmer of what we are hoping for. It could be a tease; but it could also be a promise. Rather than worrying at the wait, maybe we need to be still enough to catch those glimmers.”
