Towards Featherbed Moss

This painting is from West Nab, a rocky area of Meltham Moor, looking towards a part of the moor called Featherbed Moss. I thought it was a good name for the painting because the first thing that attracted my attention was the very fine grasses bending in the wind and they truly did have a pinkish tinge. It was such a contrast to the massive rocks strewn about like they had been tossed by an angry giant! In the distance is Marsden.

Oil on canvas, framed in quality, handmade oak frame, overall size 20 x 30cm.

£80, which includes postage & packaging within the UK, or free delivery within 10 miles of Huddersfield.
