Worlow Hill

Oil landscape by Yorkshire artist Jo Sykes

“ I keep saying I shouldn’t just follow my husband as he finds what he thinks are paths, but which turn out to be sheep trails that peter out leaving us trudging through scrub and bracken to find a path again. And he calls himself a boy scout! On this walk around / through / over Black Moss near Swellands Reservoir (where we found a couple enjoying a wild swim), when we looked back towards Pule Hill, we could clearly see the shapes formed by quarrying on Worlow Hill. Might have to go and explore that hill sometime soon!”
